Every mom wants to know what progress her baby will make in the course of time. Below are the standardized figures for babies aged 0-6 months, but remember that your baby is individual, so the variations can be rather big and it’s normal.

1 Month 2,5 Most can lift head and try to smile
2 month 2,7 Replies to mom’s smile, responds to loud noises, tries to reach interesting and bright objects

This data is based on the researches of the World Health Organization. Of course, if you give birth to the baby who is 4-5 kg, the weight gain schedule will be absolutely different. Keep in mind that the children, born overweight or just big, gain weight slower, so don’t be afraid of this.
